Polymer Play

Spent Sunday afternoon playing with some polymer clay, something I haven't done in a couple of years. I still have ALL the stuff and had meant to get rid of it but...you know.

These necklaces are from an article in the last issue of Belle Armoire Jewelry. Doors to dreams? Secrets? Wishes?



I tried a few variations, even a window, still working on what I like best but "play" is fun!

Wow, this was such a good read. Yes, it's a werewolf novel but the wolf angle is just a vehicle for the relationship between the two main characters. A "YA" (Young Adult) novel but the writing is such poetry that adults will be hooked as well.

This was one of the craziest books I've read all year. A tale of elite runners and their quest to compete with a mystical tribe of Mexican long distance runners. Wonderful even if you're not a runner although you won't believe some of the races these people compete in - Mojave Desert Run?? Really? Yes, really, running on asphalt that could fry an egg. Wild.
